About My Therapeutic Style:
I believe in the inherent health of each person I work with and focus on building individual strengths. I feel my role as a psychotherapist is to help you uncover those strengths as well as support you in your endeavor towards wholeness.
In addition to my training as a psychotherapist, I have trained in a variety of complementary healing methods which allows me to treat the whole person. With my extensive training in both psychotherapy and healing, I am able to weave together traditional methods with complementary practices such as yoga, energy medicine and craniosacral therapy. These varied techniques allow me to treat the whole person, concentrating on each individual's needs and concepts of healing.
Finally, as we are all part of a larger community, I enjoy collaborating as needed with schools and other agencies to best support the person in the environment.
