Biography: I received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA in 2005 and I am now practicing as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Boulder, CO. In addition to my private practice, I am a lecturer for the University of Colorado’s Psychology Department.
In my private practice, I provide psychotherapy and counseling for individuals and couples who are struggling with issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. In addition, I enjoy working with individuals who are struggling with relationship and marital issues. I approach a variety of client issues from a unique perspective which balances understanding and insight with committed action to change.
In general, my therapeutic style is straightforward, engaged, understanding, and collaborative – meaning that I will listen to your concerns in an attentive, compassionate manner, and will freely share with you my thoughts and ideas about your situation.
Additional Information:In addition to working with people on the issues described above, I have a specific interest in the psychology of men, including relationship issues, life-work balance issues, and new father adjustment issues.
